You may also need to make sure that the cheap gaming laptop comes with a good video card like the Mobility Radeon X1600, and you need that backed up by a minimal 15” screen. While it is easily possible for you to find a cheap gaming laptop, you must understand that on an average it will cost you $300 more than a standard cheap new laptop.

With this in mind, take the time to find the bare minimum of what you need, and then later you may be able to upgrade various aspects like an extended life battery, a chassis cooler and of course the much needed RAM. It may be in your best interest to do it this way especially if you don’t have much money to go hunting cheap gaming laptops with.
